VERONA - Patrimonio Mondiale UNESCO

Nel 2000 Verona è stata riconosciuta Patrimonio Mondiale da parte del Comitato dell'UNESCO per essere una città italiana esempio di struttura urbana, nella quale integrazione artistica e architettonica sono caratterizzate da uno sviluppo continuativo di 2000 anni e da un'altissima qualità.

Studiare l'italiano in Italia e scegliere come meta Verona vuol dire entrare in contatto con un patrimonio culturale e artistico riconosciuto a livello mondiale e imparare a conoscerlo sempre meglio.

Criteria C (ii) (iv)

The Committee decided to inscribe this property on the World Heritage List on the basis of criteria (ii) and (iv):

Criterion (ii): In its urban structure and its architecture, Verona is an outstanding example of a town that has developed progressively and uninterruptedly over two thousand years, incorporating artistic elements of the highest quality from each succeeding period.

Criterion (iv):Verona represents in an exceptional way the concept of the fortified town at several seminal stages of European history.
